Vibrational Sound Therapy

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) combines powerful vibration and gentle tones to induce an immediate state of relaxation and healing. By placing specialized Himalayan Singing Bowls and other sound healing instruments on and around the body, the clients’ nervous system will go through noticeable changes, responding to deeper and deeper states of rest. By leveraging the relaxation response, each session provides the client with a level of relaxation similar to the effects of yoga, tai chi, and meditation. Multiple instruments may be used in any session, including Himalayan Singing Bowls, Tuning Forks, Drums, Chimes, Gongs, and others.

Benefits of Vibrational Sound Therapy

VST has been shown to reduce the symptoms of stress by slowing your heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and slowing the breathing. The vibrations from the singing bowls placed on the body flow to major muscles, reducing muscle tension, and gently reducing chronic pain. The gentle tones focus the mind, fostering stronger concentration and balanced moods while reducing fatigue. Improved sleep, increased creativity, less brain-fog, and reductions in chronic pain and stress/anxiety have all been reported.

Group Sound Therapy

Group VST Sessions are sometimes called “Sound Baths”. These sessions provide an introduction to Vibrational Sound Therapy without the application of instruments directly on the body, while offering many of the same benefits. Regular participation in group or individual sound therapy sessions has been shown to have positive cumulative effects that come on sooner and more deeply the more you attend. Many group participants report increased focus and attention, with better sleep overall.
